Solitary measures Amazon and Twitter.

As I wrote yesterday, I think it would be a good idea to have a matching function (for those who wish to do so, of course) on Amazon so that people who are reading the same books can form a community or book group with other people who are reading the same books. Twitter could also be used for matching people with the same tendencies (only if they wish to do so). I think that community building would be a meaningful function in its own way.

The loneliness countermeasure is an international problem, but I think it is possible to estimate people who are likely to become friends based on their shopping habits. There will be some outliers, but...

Books are the most obvious, but other shopping trends would also work.

Tweets, TV watching, Amazon Prime data, etc. can also be used.

I'm sure some people would use the community-based support function based on those things.

If people have similar reading experiences or similar tweeting habits (reading tweets, replies, retweets), I think it would be a great way to make friends. I think it would be fun to have a book club...

I would love to see myself add the feature to Amazon Prime or something.
