The convenience of Amazon ...

What's convenient is that you can keep your purchase history forever...

You can immediately see when you purchased it and what specs it had.

Many people buy things online after seeing them in stores, and I think one of the advantages of this is the purchase history.

Especially for items involving dimensions, it is important to know what the previous size was. When buying a new item, if you buy the same size as the previous one, you can be sure that it will not fit in your room, which makes it easier to buy online.

This is even more so when such infections are prevalent. Unless you want to make a big change, it is better to consider replacement items based on your previous purchase history.

The shower curtain had been in use for four years (I didn't realize...had I used it that long?). I thought it was going to be ruined, so I immediately ordered a new one with the same dimensions as the previous one. The one I bought last time was no longer available, but I knew the dimensions, so I ordered it online with the same dimensions...

It was a good thing that I had purchased the last one from Amazon.

Amazon's online ordering system, which keeps a record of purchases, is good...

It is often better to buy online in all other aspects, such as preventing duplicate purchases of books, preventing mis-purchases of consumables, and a kind of inventory control.

Physical stores are just too much work. If it is a regular local electronics store, it is fine, but you have to accumulate customer information in a way that they don't hate you, otherwise, you can't compete with Amazon.

The usual electronics store in the neighborhood has almost human information from the customer's purchase history, preferences, and so on.

Unless we can choose between hyper-local and hyper-global, it will be difficult for us to survive...
